Pulau Ubin Trip!

Second last day of holiday, I headed to Pulau Ubin for the first time of my life, with Hui Ping, Min, Yu Xuan, Ken, Jonathan, Sen Ern and his friends. Pulau Ubin is such a wonderful place for cycling! With cheap bicycle rental at $8 for the whole day. Tedious though with lots of upslopes (ending up with sore knees and feet). But, we get to see to scenery that can't be seen in the mainland, especially the mangrove swamp and the nice wooden pranks walk at Chek Jawa! We're lucky that the weather was extremely good that day (:(:

So, we split into two groups; photog group (all the DSLR dudes) and cycling group.

And I found this!



A 20c or 30c toy has become 50c in this era. But both Hui Ping and myself were excited when we found our old-days toys!

THIS SHOP!! They have this toy museum at the upper level. Admission at $2. But sadly, we were not lucky today as they were having some renovation works going on which will be done by end of TODAY! ><
No fear. We can come back anything since school is just 10 minutes walk away. (:

A great day yesterday, with karaoke session with my cousins. It's the first time I hang out with them other than normal family gatherings. Fun and lots of laughters.

Followed by Night Safari gathering with my poly classmates. Thank goodness the rain stopped by the time we arrived that our destination and we carried on with our activities without any disappointment.
I remembered I came to Night Safari when I was still in primary school. I was freaking scared throughout the whole tram ride because of my phobia for darkness. My eyes were practically shut throughout. But not now. (:
We went for the animal show before we proceeded to tram ride.
I guess the most memorable part of our Night Safari trip, was to experience the walk-through the bats' 'house'. Geez. We girls were kind of freak out. I guess the tourists thought we were mad or something. Haha.

Photos will be up after my friends tagged me on FB. I declared my camera really sucks at night with no image stabilisation function in it. GEEZ.

Let's organise more of such activities! It'll be fun! (:

Happy New Year to everyone! Reaching a decade, 2010.
Oh gosh, I'm getting to feel older each year. I am going to be freaking 22 this year. #$%$#
But anyway, it's just another new year of 365 days. Let's hope this year will be a smooth year.

Countdown at Orchard after 'Bodyguards and Assassins' at Lido. First time joining the countdown. Though a short one, but different countdown experience with thousands of strangers around us.

Let's see if there's anything interesting that will happened in 2010.
