I was surfing on Youtube, and I came across MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS
That was my (and my brother) all time favourite show backed in those 90s when I was just a cute little primary school kiddy. :D
I remembered there were Red, Pink, Yellow, Blue and Black in the beginning. After that Green Ranger came and if I'm not wrong, Green Ranger became the White Ranger!??



Anyone remember the themesong? GO GO POWER RANGERS!


And these should be the two sets of Power Ranger toys that my brother and me owned when we were young. And I think it's given away already. :(

Had a great and not very long day with my friends. Enjoying the chocolatey dinner at Max Brenner Chocolate Bar, which resulted Nee, Aeng and me wanting to be farting and burping during our K-Box sessions after dinner. I guess it's too heaty for us.

People says that first interview is always not a successful one. I guess it's pretty true.
She saw my academic results. She asked why is it like that? I said that, maybe it didn't put my efforts during the times. Or there's certain parts where I don't understand. Hence wasn't able to write a good answer.

She said again that, it's ok if it's weak during first year, because foundation not that strong. But after that, no extra lesson? Why?
I was dumbfolded.

After which, she asked about my MP, any portfolio to show her.
ME: "Erm..no"
She continued to ask what we did. And she told me to tell her what we did.

Dead. What I say? I just say we did this and that, but wasn't quite successful because we lacked of important ingredients.
She asked, "did check for supplier?"
Dumbfolded again.

And again, she asked if I do cooking often, as there may be times when we need to develop new dishes/recipes.
Me: "Erm..no. Don't have the chance."

And bla bla bla..She asked what my hobbies?
Me: "Oh! I do practise guitar. Doing photoshop and stuff."

Again, she said that her ideal person could be someone whose hobbies is maybe cooking, reading recipe books and so on, to show real interest in this area. Creativity to try/think of new recipes/dishes.
Once again (and again), I was dumbfolded and I went "Oh~"

Now know how jia lak this is? She mentioned that I need grasp the knowledge of those functional ingredients very well (and she saw that my Food Ingredients wasn't pass with a nice grade).

After the interview, I was thinking, if my academic results and not very super excellent projects will affect me getting a job, then what am I do in the future?
I'm not pretty. Otherwise I will always walk around town to get myself scout by model companys or something.
I can't dance. Otherwise I can be a good dancer, teaching people, opening dancing school.
I can't sing. Otherwise I can be singer and earn big bucks.
I can't act. Otherwise I can go Mediacorp.
I can't cook. Otherwise I can be like Sam Leong.
What do I exactly know?
I like to eat. Can I be an eating instructor? Teach people to eat?
I watch TV. Can I be a TV drama advisor or analyser or whatever?
I do stone. Can I teach people to mediate and calm their minds from stress?

(on 2nd thoughts)
I think I shall shut up. Blame myself. No efforts, determination= No work done.
I just wait for Heaven to drop down opportunities and big bucks for me.

Last Saturday, 28/6/2008, was a birthday celebration for Shu Jie, who is turning 20 today. And also, that celebration was a last gathering that the 8 of us gathered together before Alesia flies (flying now..) to Australia to continue her studies.



Today Shu Jie and me managed to send her off. Mixed emotions come to my mind.. Though isn't really very very close with her, but the great times we spent together, as well as with others just start to flash into my mind. I don't know what to say and talk to her at the airport. However deeply in my heart, I had begin to miss her and her presence in future gatherings. I believe the rest do feel the same thing as well even they aren't present in the airport.

"Distance doesn't matters. What matters is the true friendship within everyone's heart."

Bon Voyage! Wish you all the best in Australia. We will miss you! (:
